Our Story

 

CurtainCall was launched in 2019 as a new kind of performing arts school – one that has student development at its very heart.

 

The founders, KruJing, had a passion for the performing arts and wanted to create a unique organization to help build student’s self-esteem and life skills.

 

Prior to establishing CurtainCall, KruJing trained as an singer/actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and appeared in a number of shows in multiple countries and regionally. During this time, she was also working extensively with students at a variety of performing arts schools.

 

The aim of CurtainCall was to use performing arts games, exercises and materials to help boost student development. Rather than teaching rigorous techniques and requiring the endless memorisation of lines or steps, the sessions would use specially devised activities, each with the aim of developing a specific life skill or social attribute. With our intensive classes, KruJing believed that student would be able to grow and develop their skill with passion.

 

CurtanCall has now 2 brunches in Bangkok and online courses for everyone across the globe. It now encompasses more than 50 of weekly classes for singing, acting, dancing, public speaking, holiday courses and unique workshops for our students.

 

KruJing continue to drive the business. As Principal, KruJing is responsible for recruiting, training and monitoring CurtainCall teachers, developing the CurtainCall curriculum and writing the games and exercises used in CurtainCall classes.
